The technique of filtering the water used for washing the photovoltaic panels and windows is the reverse osmosis. The process forces the passage of molecules of solvent from the more concentrated solution to the less concentrated solution obtained by applying to the solution more concentrated a pressure greater than the osmotic one. The reverse osmosis is carried out with a membrane that retains the solute on the one hand preventing its passage and allows to obtain the pure solvent on the other.
